Adj Asst Prof Chong Qingqing Dawn

Dr Dawn Chong is a Consultant at the Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). She received her undergraduate medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated in 2006. She obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2010. She completed her medical oncology fellowship training at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and NCCS in 2013. She subsequently completed a fellowship in clinical and translational cancer epidemiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in 2015. She obtained a degree in Master of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2016. 


She is a recipient of the Singhealth Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship award in 2013. She was awarded the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Clinician Scientist Individual Research Grant New Investigator Grant (CS-IRG NIG) and the NMRC Research Training Fellowship in 2015. Her research focuses on cancer epidemiology and gastrointestinal cancers. 


Dr Chong has been actively involved in the training of undergraduates and young clinicians. She is a member of the Singapore Medical Association (SMA), Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP), Society of Singapore Oncology (SSO) and the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI).
